UPPA baby Mesa

I pre ordered our car seat, thinking the manufacturer would ship end of june like they anticipated. I just got a call from the supplier... It wont be in until August or Septemebe now! I am so dissapointed. I still plan to get the Mesa for LO once available, now i need a backup plan.

Anyone have an UPPA baby Vista stroller? Whats your go to car seat? Maxi cosi? Preg preggo?

That sucks about the carseat.  I have an UBV stroller and a Chicco keyfit 30 seat.  Had to get the adapter, but it snaps in and was fantastic for DD.   I would do all my grocery/target shopping with it because the basket was HUGE.

  • I recommend Chicco Keyfit as well. It's a favorite of CPSTs because the install is so easy, and it's just a fantastic seat all around. My sister has it attached to her Yppa baby Vista stroller and loves it. Definitely a great infant seat.

I was in the same boat. I had ordered from Pish Posh Baby in March and they said I'd have to wait until September, so I cancelled my order and got a refund. I called around to everywhere that sells UppaBaby last monday and finally secured one at Simply Baby and Kids. I had it in my house by Friday. It's a different color that I wanted, but I've got it! It is super cute and really easy to use.

This is who just called me! So i have hope that i can get one still. What color did you get??

  • I can't speak from experience but I'm getting the vista with the chicco keyfit adapter. I haven't been able to see the mesa in person and I wanted to go with a tried and true infant car seat and the adapter gets good reviews.

This exactly. In case you weren't aware, it's really not recommended to put an infant seat balanced on the child seat of a shopping cart. The Keyfit doesn't even have notches to aid in the process, so when using the shopping cart, the infant seat really needs to go in the basket of the cart. It was so much easier to just use the stroller (plus it rolls much smoother through the parking lot than the cart does).

    We got ours through albeebaby.com

  • Yeah this is exactly why I didn't even bother ordering it. By the time baby gets here I'm not going to be hulling that car seat around and out of the car, but taking her out instead. I have the UB Cruz and just did the Chicco Keyfit 30 with the adapter.

  • I just ordered our uppa baby vista after months of over analyzing which stroller to get. We settled on the Gracco snugride 30 car seat- it was very light (compared to the peg perego) and had a much better handle placement than the others which just felt easier to carry. I'm a FTM so I haven't used it yet but after literally analyzing every single option that the vista could accommodate, that's what we settled on. Hope it helps!
