Sore mouth?

So, I noticed a couple days ago that DD's bottom lip looked sore.  Today she sounds like her throat is tight and sore and has a little red bump under her bottom lip.  Anyone experience anything like this?  I also think she is favoring/tending to her left ear, so here we go with that......

    Does she use a pacifier?  Allison was using one all.the.time. and her skin under her bottom lip got sort of a drool rash (for lack of a better term).  We took it away except for car and sleep and it went away.

    As for the throat/ear...no advice, sorry.
