Ugh Ugh Ugh!

Grrrr! I hate bad customer service. The stupid condo we rented in Portland has been rented by someone else! They were all hippy dippy about it and said, Oh we're processing your request. Send us an email as your dates get closer for details and blah blah blah. So I did and they rented it to someone else. I was just on the phone yelling in a tactful way to the people at airbnb ("it's not your fault but I am furious," and so on). They are only able to give me a freaking $50 coupon. I think I found somewhere else so FX. What a headache!

    That's so frustrating. Nothing like adding a nice big dollop of stress onto your trip! Hopefully you find somewhere else quickly with better service. They're lucky you were so tactful as possible...I would have been livid!

    This happened to us once, we were moving to Edinburgh from Ontario and the day before our flight we called to see when we could pick up the key and they told us they already had renters! So frustrating!
