It appears as thought I have my first post baby period :( I am only 11 weeks pp and this seems early to me??? I'm not totally surprised though since LO has cut back on her amount of nursing sessions over the past week....

wondering when everyone else got their first period? Was it worse or lighter then pre baby and if you were BFing did it effect your supply at all? I have what I can only hope is an irrational fear that I will dry up. 

ETA: I felt this weird sadness when I woke up this morning. Haven't had a period since July 1 of last year....it was this weird reality that my IVF cycle and pregnancy are really over! Also a reminder that LO is growing up....and the thought of ovulating and EWCM each month just seems so surreal to me!

    AF came back for me 6 weeks pp and I was able to BF DS for 18 months. My supply was low so that whole time I had to use Fenegreek, mothers milk tea, and eat oatmeal every morning. The real stuff not instant. During AF my supply would decrease a little so I took a calcium magnesium supplement. See kelly mom for dosing. HTH

    I just got mine back at 10 months. My supply dipped a little but I think the sore nipples were the most obvious symptom.
    Mine was pretty light but it was nonexistent before so I have no frame of reference.
    Like pp said, try oatmeal, flaxseed, brewers yeast, lactation cookies, mothers milk tea, dark beer, etc.
    sorry she showed her face so soon. That sucks.

    With DS AF came back at 8 weeks PP. The first time was light then she fell right back into a regular 28 day cycle. I EBF for a year with no problems. So I guess you got a few more weeks than me. ;)

    Unexplained Infertility

    After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!

    Mine came back at 12 weeks and I stopped nursing at two weeks, thanks no supply. Mine was a normal period for me, "heavy" the first day then regular to light the rest of the time and lasted 5 days. I say heavy but it's not everyone else's heavy. My cramps felt the same as before too.

    AF is back for me as well. However she waited until right around 5mo PP. 11w seems pretty quick to me! Sorry :(

    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    AF came back at close to 5 months PP.  I EPed and got AF 3 days after my last pump session.  So obviously, the whole supply issue didn't apply to me.  And it might have been a little heavier, but nothing crazy and it's back to normal now.
