This weekend has been nuts. DS has been a stage 4 clinger. I may have just made that up. I mean he's not stage 5 cuz he will play by himself for a little while but I have to be within 10 feet of him. Meltdowns galore. I felt bad for DH today especially cuz he had to go to work this afternoon so I wanted to give him some time with DS since it is Father's Day, but DS only wanted me to hold him. These developmental leaps can kiss my arse. Thankfully, I feel better equipped this time around, and that I know what to expect his meltdowns to be like and how to handle them. I hope this ends soon. Not sure how sane I can stay!

But that picture you posted on FB is precious! Miss C has been a lot more clingy too, with full on tantrums it's been a lot to take.

Ugh tantrums are such a PITA. DS has started with the whiny noises that KILL me. Seriously I'd rather have the big fat tears than the whining. It's like nails on a freaking chalkboard to me. He'll whine because he wants more food on his tray. He knows how to sign for more so I usually wait a bit for it. I do realize he's still a baby but patience and manners are so important to me and he's gotta learn them so we're starting now. We did the same for DD and it has worked wonderfully. She'll still have her moments because she's a kid but for the most part she is super well mannered and patient. Thank goodness.
This weekend wasn't long enough for me. More time please!!!!
