That's what I did, too. I actually bought the hospital birth book on my kindle and I wasn't super-impressed, although I had read quite a lot at that point so maybe it was just repetitive?
Just wanted to add that sometimes the library isn't a feasible option. I live in a town with a population of 35,000 and our library only had a few of the books I wanted to read. On the plus side, I'm a grad student, so my University had a good selection, but I wanted to keep my books. There's no such thing as too many books!
