Weaning baby off the boob!

I'm planing on stopping breastfeeding my baby by the time he is 12 months. Any advice on how should I wean him off eventually. I was thinking trying formula instead of breastfeeding?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    You probably won't need formula.  How old is your baby?  Once he starts eating more solids he may naturally stop nursing as much.  I breastfed my son until he was 14 months old.  Around 10-11 months he stopped the afternoon feed on his

    So, you actually just follow his natural responses? My son is about to be 1 yr. old on June 22.

    I'm glad I read your post, because I was kind of thinking "how I was going to do this?" I feel more confident that I can do it now, and it's not a big deal!
