  Good luck! It's been about 2 months since I've had excruciating tailbone pain.. And although the pain is better now its still not the same.. Esp when sitting for long periods of time. But even if you bruise it... It can take a month or longer to heal!

  I'm lurking, I am only 11 weeks, but I find if I sit too long, eg more the 15mins, I get a very very sore tail bone, and end up hobbling around for awhile. I guessed it was from the hormones relaxing all of your joints, and I had damaged my tail bone when I was a child, so it was just having a wee freak out.

  Try using a dounut pillow if ur on ur butt a lot. It's a must have if you are ;

  Get on all fours as often as possible and do "cat" stretches.

   I do a warrior pose stretch where I put one hand flat on the floor and stick the opposite leg out. That really opens me up and helps.

   Try not to sit as often as possible, and use ice if need be.

  My tailbone hurts a lot too!! I have a memory foam pillow I sit on at work, but doesn't help too much. 

  Someone else replied to try cat stretches/yoga moves...I "accidentally" found out one night that this worked! I did cat and cow stretches to loosen up my back one night, and voila, my tailbone pain alleviated quite a bit! I haven't had my tailbone be that sore again to test the theory again yet, but I hope it will work for you perhaps too. PS, Im at 23 1/2 weeks...I didn't know what time frame tailbone pain was supposed to start??
