Hi! Okay well I'm due November 4th which puts me at about 5 months pregnant. Everyone always says I'm not showing that much and I'm really not. Like, I have a bump but I feel like I'm not as big as most people are at 5 months. I had my first ultrasound and they said everything looked healthy. I just wanted to know if anyone else was/is like this.
Btw this is my first and it's a girl
Re: Showing?
Everyone's body is different. Some women don't show until 7 months. Some don't ever really show. It could just be what you're wearing.
Another friend was heavy when she got ku and she looked very pregnant but had obviously slimmed down. She came out weighing less than she did before getting pregnant.
Everyone shows differently.
Everyone is different, I wouldn't worry. When I was 7 months pregnant with my son, people would say how huge I was and a stranger actually told me I had dropped and looked ready to deliver. Then someone else would tell me I looked small because I hadn't gotten fat all over (I did gain 40 pounds!) This time I'm showing faster but not gaining as much weight. I'm ignoring all comments this time, people should think before they speak!
Randomly, I'm apparently carrying higher-- my bump literally starts just a couple short inches below my sternum and has been that way for a while now-- I think a month or maybe month and a half-- though it's much more noticeable now-- I'm a few days over 19 weeks as well.
My jeans still button at my belly button and I haven't grown out of anything yet-- my shirts are just a little shorter because of the fullness at the top of my stomach!
I'm about 4'10 and have a short waist, so I imagine that's why I started showing earlier?
