Lurker intro

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to do a quick intro so if I post I'm not a complete and total lurker. I'm mom to a 6 year old girl with SPD, ADHD, PDD-NOS and anxiety issues. We're currently taking a break from all the therapies besides medication. We are also homeschoolers and expecting another little girl in October.

Yes and no. We went from having an amazing OT and family/child psychologist back in Mass to middle of nowhere Montana where everything is school based and the school wasnt very flexible with us. We have an IEP here and Genny was approved for speech, OT and a resource teacher. We homeschool so we were going to the school five times a week. None of the therapists were very patient with Genny and we saw a huge increase in her meltdowns, with no real improvement or change in her speech or motor skills. Around this time I also found out I was pregnant and had a very difficult first trimester so we as a family agreed to take a break and reevaluate. We're looking at other options as well as working on some of the things she struggles with at home. We're also struggling with a change in insurance as back in Mass we were on state funded insurance and now we are on military insurance which will not pay for OT for her sensory issues, only motor skill issues which she does have but her sensory issues are a huge part of it as well.
