Iphone heartbeat app!!

I downloaded the babyscope app and I actually heard the heartbeat!! You have to put it on airport mode and have headphones without a speaker, but wow so amazing!! This of course if if you have an iphone! Try it ladies!

    How does this even work?  Maybe I'm skeptical, but my thought is it's a pre-recorded sound.  :-/

    This. It sounds like a load of crap. I mean you could hear your own artery maybe, but how could it possibly pick up a heartbeat in the first trimester? Lol

    I call bull sh!t!! If you look at the app website, it says it works as a stethoscope to hear the babies heartbeat. It is difficult to hear the heart beat with a medical grade stethoscope until after 20weeks.

    At this early in your pregnancy, I would bet you were hearing your iliac or femoral arteries transmitting.

    Also, they say it is safe, but who knows what they will say down the road.

    Haha give it a try skeptics! I heard my own heart beat too! And my stomach grumbling.. Def not recorded. I'm 12 weeks i'm just out of the first trimester! You put the phone on your belly and it acts as a stethoscope. I think it only works with iphone 5

    I will believe that it's not recorded. That is all I will believe.

    It's a $5 app and says it's recommended for the third trimester. I'm no doctor, but I think at this point my HB is overpowering LO's as far as the iPhone mic is concerned.
