car seat question

We have a Nissan Versa and a Toyota Rav4. Our DDs are in convertible carseasts on either side. I'm thinking If I get DD1 a booster and move it to the middle since she is the most mobile, good at getting herself buckled....then put new baby on driver side, it might be a tight squeeze but it should work, right?

    Sorry I don't have any advice on the booster, but do you mind me asking which convertible car seat you used rear facing in your RAV4? I have an infant seat (snug ride 30) in my 2010 RAV4 and will be switching to a convertible soon. Thanks!

    I would not be comfortable with a newly 4-year old in a booster unless you are talking about a combination seat (harness and can convert to a booster).  Check out Car Seats for the Littles group on Facebook.  They can help troubleshoot seat configurations and there are a ton of car seat techs that post there.  If I remember correctly, there have been a few threads about Rav4s not being able to accommodate 3 seats (newer models I believe).

    we used an evenflo. I can't remember what model it is. We got it for DD1...back in 09.

    This! At 4 they should definitely still be harnessed. I think the narrowest combination seat is the Harmony Defender.
