  I am having twins and I also had OHSS. Mine resolved by around 7 weeks too and I was miserable! I drank lots of gatorade (and drinks containing electrolytes), upped my sodium intake, and sat upright as much as I could, even sleeping. It will go away, I don't know if I'd risk a paracentesis for 2 more weeks. The fluid could also still come back after getting drained, so might just be best to wait it out. GL to you!

  I was drained 3 times. I am also pg with twins. My ohss got bad from 5dp5dt until I think around 7wks. I would get to the point of where I had a hard time breathing and then I would go and get drained and it was instant relief afterwards and then gradually it filled back up and I would be redrained and then it finally resolved. I was out of work over 2 weeks bc of it. Each time they would drain me they would insert a long needle into the side of my abdomen with the most fluid and it connected to a tube that went into a vacuum sealed glass bottle. It was painful but the relief it provided was worth it. I worried so much about our babies but they are perfectly healthy little girls right now at 23 wks. After each draining due to pain my re had me take 1 hydrocodone pill. I dont even take tylenol normally but it is so painful you will need it. I also was told to eat the broth from chicken ramen noodles bc of the sodium and drink lots of salty broth, pickles, pickle juice etc. Hope you feel better soon!

  I didn't have to go and get drained but I am also pg with twins. I did have mild OHSS. My RE's nurse said to drink and eat lots of salty stuff. Hope you feel better

  ~ Lupron starts Thanksgiving day~

  19 R. 12. Fertilized with ICSI, 2 transfered
  only 1 made it to freeze!
