Happy Father's Day to Us!

Because this batch of dads who are celebrating the Father's Day of their August babies for the first time would not be here without us!

I have been up since 4:45 waiting for DH to wake up so we can start our day! French toast and bacon, followed by presents, and then on to the rest of the fantastic foods I've planned for the day!!!

    So cute! I got up at 6:00 to start DH's breakfast of homemade corned beef hah, sausage links and pancakes. Then we're going to the zoo all day. Afterwards, we're picking up his DQ ice cream cake that he has no idea exists! Happy Father's Day!

    Wow Molly! You're doing a lot so far. Much nicer wife than me. The only reason I get up early is because DS needs to nurse. I'll be making breakfast when it's normal morning time. Then off to the Irish festival for some beer and fun!

    I'm letting DH sleep in. I'll get him up.after DS' first nap. Made pancakes that spell DAD. Gave him a framed 8 x 10 collage of he and Nolan on Friday. Today he'll get a card and set of steak and kitchen knives from my mom. I got him,us, tickets to see Daniel Tosh on Wed.

    He got me a card and picked up a gift certificate for VS from the grocery store last minute, lol!

    DH isn't even here to celebrate with us this morning. He has been on a "man cation" with his friends. I guess it just my life easier without having to plan anything.

    DH is not much of a breakfast eater, but when DD goes down for her nap, I'm making bacon, eggs, and blueberry scones. Yum. Happy Father's Day to me! I guess he can have some too, lol.
