Did U/S tech blow it?

We had our A/S last week and told the tech right off the bat we are team green. After she checked the babies silly bits while we closed our eyes, she kept saying "he", as in "his hands are covering his face" or "here is his arm". We said nothing to her but exchanged confused looks.

Did she blow it or do you think it's just a generic term, rather than saying "the baby" just say "he" ??

We've thought boy all along and are not taking her slips as confirmation of sex or anything but now I REALLY cant picture having a girl. Hmmm.. What a pickle.

    When we were team green with DD1 the us tech told us she would say he or him but that is an office policy for all team green parents. So I don't know what to say. You will just have to wait and see.

    During my last pregnancy my ex husband didn't know the sex but I did. During an ultrasound during my final weeks, the on call doc kept referring to the baby as "he" and "his". My ex was furious...stating he now knew the sec of the baby thanks to him. Let's just say we had a girl lol. I think people...including myself...refer to them as boys. I wouldn't worry too much.

    My OB calls ALL babies "he". When I went for my 24w check up on Thursday he asked me how "he" was doing. And then he corrected himself. I think they feel better saying s/he instead of "it". I wouldn't think too much about it!

    My tech said he as a generalized term. We are having a girl.

    I swore my tech said she my mistake but dh didn't hear it.   It could be a slip or just all babies are " he" as a general term.  It makes me so curious though to find out if the tech slipped by mistake

    My friend had the same experience and they planned for a boy and had a girl. U can call and ask if it is office policy.

    We were not finding out at the a/s and the tech kept refurring to the baby as he. She said she has 4 boys at home so now she refures to all babies as "he".

    Maybe not. She has to call him/her something.

    Back when my mom was pregnant with my sister, the tech blew it by calling her a her. Then she tried to cover herself by saying that she had all girls around, that is why she says her. A little while later she was talking about her son.
