Have you given your LO fruit snacks? I haven't yet, but I thought it would be a easy snack for our upcoming trip. But I'm nervous that they are to small. Thought?
We have to break them up in super small pieces when we give her fruit snacks but raisins, nutrigrain bars, graham crackers and apple sauce pouches ::gasp:: are our go to's for on the go snacks.
At Target, I found super soft, small flat ones in the organic baby snacks section... DD didn't like them, but they were definitely appropriate. They said 12month+ on the box.

Our pedi said to stay away from fruit snacks and raisins until 18 months--but that just might be her personal recommendation. Haven't seen any reason, other than the obvious potential choking hazards if they just suck one of them down into their airway?
Ian eats them frequently. I just give them to him. He has all his molars so he chews stuff up really good. My kiddo eats steak, so gummies don't worry me too much.
