WWJ12 Do?

I know this is more of a pregnancy question but I am not really a fan of the December 13' board so I am asking here. I was in the ER the other night due to severe abdominal pain and since I am 15 weeks pregnant they didn't do a CT scan but did do an ultrasound and think I have gallstones. I have never had any problem with this before but they said it was more common in pregnany. I have an appointment Monday for a better ultrasound to check. Anyway, they prescribed Norco for pain. It is a class C drug and the ER doctor and my OB said it "should" be okay if only taken as needed. Well I haven't taken any yet but right now am in serious pain. I am at work and I already called off twice this week so I have to work until 7:30pm tonight. I am scared to take the medication. I know it might be silly but I never took ANYTHING with DS so I am hesitant. So what say you...pop a pill or not?

Re: WWJ12 Do?

  • What's the dose?  Is it 2 pills?  If so, maybe just take one to see if you can take the edge off?  That's a really tough call, but you've got to be at work.  Good luck making your decision.

  • Thanks ladies. I didn't think about it making me tired so I ended up taking a couple regular Tylenol. Maybe if I keep telling myself I'm not in pain it will start working...the power of suggestion right? : )
