Hi, how many naps does your little one take? Is it down to one? I'm trying to prepare ahead of time as my kids will be starting daycare at this age. TIA
My lo still takes two most days, if he sleeps in or we're really busy he can get away with one but two is still best for him now. My middle son was over 18 when he went to one nap, but my kids need a lot of sleep.
Two naps, although the second one is usually only 30 to 45 minutes.. The days when she refuses to take a second nap are miserable, so I'm hoping she doesn't switch to 1 nap anytime soon!
We are down to one and limit it to three hours. Fifi has been fighting going to bed at night so pedi said to cut her down from how she was napping before.
I've always been on DDs schedule and she has been on one nap now for awhile. It ranges from 1-3 hours. She sleeps between 10-12 hours at night. I don't know if that's a lot compared to others and that's why she's down to one or what.
We go by DS and he usually does one nap and has since about 10 months. It is 45 mins - 1.5 hours. If he does a shorter nap at DC, then he'll maybe take a 15 min cat nap on the way home from DC.
My son usually only takes one nap each day unless. Once in a while, he'll take two, with one being less than an hour long.
We actually didn't start him in daycare until after his first birthday, and after he had been going for about 3 weeks, two days each week, that's when he started dropping the second nap. They nap there after lunch, so around 12. Before he started there he was napping at 9 or 10am and again around 3 or 4 so I think maybe the schedule there helped him drop the second nap.
Still doing two naps. The afternoon one is sometimes more difficult but the majority of the time he doesn't give me any trouble. He needs a lot of sleep. His naps are usually at least 2 hours.
He takes one nap on days that he's at daycare, but we're still doing 2 naps at home. He can barely make it to 9 am without dozing off during the weekend. (He wakes up around 6:30)
