Well, for one DH went all by himself to a school meeting because I had a work meeting I couldn't get out of.
So, Chris is doing MUCH better. He can say 'hi' to everyone now. You don't realize what a big deal this is until your kid NEVER says hi to you. Now if we say "Hi, Chris", he'll say "hi, Mommy" or "hi, Daddy". On that note, DH and I have names now - "Mommy", "Daddy" and he's using names at school too. His eye contact has drastically improved and his tantrums - annoying as they may be - are more in line with typical reactions to situations. Typical for his age range that is.
DH sounded so proud and he's usually the one obsessing about things Chris can't do. So yay!!
Re: I know it's not Brag Day but ...
That is great!!
It's incredible how the little things that most parents take for granted WE truly are moved over, isn't it?
