First ultra sound today...by my calculations I'm about 7 weeks pregnant. What was found was an egg sac and yolk, but no fetal pole. What we were told is that there is about a 50/50 chance that the pregnancy will progress. It's entirely possible that it's just too early to see anything, or it could be a blighted ovum. The PA said that the sac shows the appropriate growth, but admitted they do usually see more at 7 weeks, although it's not unheard of not to. I had blood drawn today to check my HCG levels, with another draw scheduled for Monday, so we'll know more on Tuesday. I'm staying calm and considering this neutral news, and considering myself pregnant until they tell me otherwise. My gut says everything is fine, whatever that's worth...

T&P to you as well mamabc14. I know it's confusing, but pregnancy dating always goes by the first day of your LMP (or, if you're a late ovulater, about 14 days before you ovulated). So five weeks after you implanted your fetus is still considered a 7 week fetus. That's my understanding anyway.
Everything I'm reading says things vary so much in the early days, so...
