180 in her sleep

so I put my baby down last night with her head at on end of the bed on her back, and she woke up with her head at the opposite end on her tummy! Should I be concerned all night about checking on her and putting her back on her back in the MOTN? she is getting better with rolling over, but hasn't mastered it yet haha

Re: 180 in her sleep

  • I am sure she is fine if she has good head control.

  • DD had been sleeping on her stomach since she started rolling over. If she can roll over I am sure he has strong enough neck control. I would not worry.DD has actually been sleeping better in her stomach.

  • DD still doesn't sleep on her tummy, but she does move and turn in all directions.... for some reason she is always on her side, she sleeps exactly like me it's weird.
  • thank you, she does have good head control. she just cant seem to get that arm out from under her. so frustrating for her, poor girl  haha
  • DD had been doing this too. DH actually saw her roll into her side, put her feet on the slats on the crib and "walk" herself til she rotated as far as she could.
It's always interesting in the morning now going into her room. Never know what I'm going to find!

  • DD has definitely done this! I scratched my head the first time and though... humm I'm pretty sure I laid you down with your head at the top but figured in my sleepy state I just was remembering incorrectly, nope! She hasn't done it a ton but occasionally she'll manage to squirm all the way around.

Today is the first day she's rolled over onto her belly and stayed asleep through that and unfortunately I think that means she needs to stop sleeping in bed with me. The bed isn't quite firm enough for me to be comfortable sleeping that way while I'm also sleeping.
