We spent over a month trying to get DS to sleep in his crib to no avail. We have regressed back to the RNP and I am completely fine with that for now. However, in a few weeks we are going to try the crib again and I was wondering if anyone had luck with a mobile or soother. We have the turtle that puts stars on the ceiling and we play music and that is fine for the RNP. He goes down drowsy and falls asleep, but the crib is a different story. I've tried the FP seahorse and that doesn't work.
I was thinking of getting this:

Any other suggestions, ideas?
Re: XP: Mobile/Soother for Crib
We have a projector/white noise machine from Munchkin. DS loves watching it move on the ceiling and it helped to distract him from being lowered into the crib when we were trying to nail down drowsy but awake bedtimes. There's three different scenes you can put into the projector so we switch it up every few nights to keep him interested. Here it is:

both my kids lovvvvvve the soother you posted. We are on our second one my Ds used it everyday he was in his crib so 3 years. Now my DD uses it
We still don't have the best luck getting him down drowsy in crib. I usually nurse him to sleep and put him down, he wakes and I comfort him a little. We have a combination of helpers to get him to sleep, and we try what'll work that night...
- turtle that puts stars on ceiling, this helps me see in his room
- sleep sheep put noise on for 46 minutes
- Fp seahorse, is much shorter, but this puts me to sleep too.
- he usually sleeps with a pacifier, so we put one in and let him hold another (usually a wubanub)
- also has a "lovie" (I think that's what it's called) its a bunny head with a soft blankie out of it. I only use this when he clearly wants to snuggle and I watch him with it until he falls asleep and then take it away.
ds is 3.5 months and has slept in his crib frm day 1
