    I am making him his own smash cake. It will probably be white cake that I will decorate as elmo.

    I will make separate white and chocolate cake sheets for everyone else to have.

    I'm thinking cupcake as his smash cake since we did the same for DD. Most likely plain vanilla with vanilla frosting or carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. No dyes for him yet since I was very sensitive to food dyes growing up.

    I'm deciding between a good buttermilk yellow cake and a banana cake. The yellow cake would probably have berries between layers and a vanilla buttercream. The banana would be cream cheese frosting.

    I'm thinking about making a little smash cake for DS, but it will be a recipe I have that is a carrot cake, with no sugar, oil, etc, very healthy version. With a sweet potato icing.

    I used this for DS1 too and he loved it!

    I'll probably do a smash cake for DD and a sheet cake for the guests. I hadn't really given thought to the flavor. MIL might make one or the other since she bakes and decorates cakes as one of her jobs.

    Smash cake and regular sheet cake. Smash cake will be chocolate. Sheet will be half and half, vanilla and chocolate.

    I think on his actual birthday we'll give him something healthyish, but for his party he'll probably have a smash cake. We're ordering from a really yummy local bakery.

    I'll make DS a smash cake for his party, probably vanilla, in the shape of a pineapple since its a luau. And I'll do cupcakes for the rest of the guests.

    We are doing an owl theme. I just found an adorable owl smash cake I'll try to make. Not sure what flavors yet. Not sure what cake for guests yet. I like making and decorating cakes for birthdays. I'm definitely no professional but I have fun with it.

    Both cake and cupcakes. We are doing the very hungry caterpillar theme so the head is a cake and the the body is made of cupcakes. Mix of yellow, chocolate, and red velvet cupcakes. We will probably have brownies and cookies as well.
