Does anyone have any simple recipes they can share? I'd like to start making and freezing food. We're done with the purees as my LOs are 9 months old. ANYTHING you can share would be great. TIA!
I roast yams, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash, then cube it and stick it in ice cube trays. I pop them out and put them in a freezer bag so that I can grab a few to throw in the microwave at meal time. I also cut up mango and steamed zucchini, carrots, and green beans to freeze. I also buy a bag of frozen peas and just heat them up as needed.
I bought this book four years ago for my first son, and I LOVE IT. Some of the baby food recipes have turned into recipes for the family, they're so good. Encouraged me to experiment with herbs and unique flavors/ingredients for all of us.
Re: Making and freezing food (recipes)
A poster on my BMB just posted this today and I'm planning to make and freeze some.
