Home daycare prices

I am looking into having my neighbor watch my infant when he or she is born. How much are you all paying for in home daycare? I hope it is less than the prices at daycare centers! Thanks!

    My friend has watched both my sons in her home.  She charged me $20/day for my first son and watched him from 3mo-3yrs.  Now she is watching my 2nd son and we pay her $30/day.  It is much cheaper than daycare.

    Wow --  I'm not sure where these people live, or maybe I'm just very particular about clearances, recent experience, CPR/First Aid, Act 33/34, clean driving record, etc., but for a full day 8 - 5pm in my home, I'd pay at least $75.

    Mine is $29 per day or $116 per week for 4 days 7:30am-5:00pm
