C-sections

Re: (Untitled)

  • I am pregnant again and it's been 19 months since my c-section.  I have noticed I get sore pretty quick also.  I am on lifting restrictions due to an abruption so I can't lift my 18 month old often.  I just do so to get him in and out of the car really.

I do get the same "burning" sensation but it doesn't last long.  But it sounds like everything you are going through I am too.

It takes a year for your body to heal from a csection, so I would guess the soreness will get worse before it gets better :(

  • My dr told me it's normal. I had a VBAC this time around and the longest discomfort I experienced was soreness from my prior c section.

  • I wish I could say it won't, but it will most likely get worse. My second was born 11 months after the 1st. I had an extremely painful pregnancy. My son wasn't walking until after DD was born either. Abs tearing, incision burning, nerves stabbing, pelvis out of whack, back screwed up, and just PAIN. Soooooo, I hope yours doesn't get that bad. Have you talked to the OB about this? Mine had referrals for certain types of pain. Are you taking anything for the pain?
