Girls: Bayleigh Elizabeth or Caroline Elizabeth. Boys: Sawyer Harrison Sutton still thinking of a mn or Harrison Quinn. Last name is in my screen name. Mobile bumping!

I do not like Bayleigh at all! Caroline Elizabeth is a beautiful name. I like Sawyer for a boy, but Harrison is nice too.

Bailey is very popular in my area and I've always thought it was a very pretty name. I wanted a little different spelling since it is so popular around my town. DH picked Caroline, which makes it even sweeter in a way. Thanks for your input ladies :

I agree with this. If a name is too popular for your taste, the solution is not to spell it differently, but to choose a different name. If you jack up the spelling it just gives you the worst of both worlds: it sounds exactly like a popular name when spoken out loud and it's harder to spell. Either way you spell it, I much prefer Caroline, which is lovely; Bailey is a last name to me, and not particularly feminine.

If any of your surname-y boy name ideas has family significance, I'd choose that. If not, I prefer in order Harrison, Sawyer, and Sutton way down the line (it rhymes with button and it's hard for me to take seriously).

Although Dexter is a really good show...our names are not based on a tv show..I'm not sure where you are from, but I live in extreme southern Alabama, we have plenty of rednecks and I know no one by any of the names I have picked. They are all family surnames between myself and my hubby. Thank you ladies for all of the opinions!
