who wants to share about etiquette regarding ladyscaping at this stage in anticipation of my 1st internal. I can't see it - how can I "scape" it? Any suggestions?
i have no suggestions...but i've been thinking about how much more difficult that is getting. i'm legitimately afraid of bleeding to death as a result of a ladyscaping accident!
I ain't doing shit. It's not like me and the doctor are having a relationship. Until he takes me out to dinner, I don't really care if he likes my ladyscaping.
After a certain point in my pregnancy, I stopped ladyscaping. I couldn't see it so I didn't care. I thought it would bother me during delivery, but it was the last thing on my mind. But, my PP appointment is next week and I am surely going to clean up down there!

Ditto! DH helps a little if I ask, but I'm not too worried about it being perfectly groomed down there
I'm still shaving every week or so. I can't see it but I can feel it. I'm sure I miss a few spots but it feels better. I'm just going to keep doing my thing, unless I become unable to reach!
I finally attempted again in the bathtub yesterday. Standing up, it's way too hard to try to see around my belly. In the bathtub I can kind of lean back and brace myself with my legs. I also used a mirror to check that I got everything. I'm sure it didn't look very graceful....
I've been keeping up with my regular brazilians. I hate shaving and I can't see sh!t down there so I would hate to try and do it myself. I like feeling smooth and hairless and not having to worry about it. I'm hoping to get one more good wax in before going into labor so that I don't have to worry about hair down there post partum, at least for 5 or 6 weeks.

LMAO! So true!
I personally have been kind of trying to shave lately... but really I haven't been putting too much effort into it. I would rather be kind of unshaven and see the doctor, than have a huge nasty cut and have the doctor comment on that.I am sure they deal with this all of the time. I mean it is tricky tricky thing!
I did mention it to my DH awhile ago and he said that he would rig up a little mirror for me that could tilt to hang on the wall of the shower. LOL.... I think it would be really funny to explain to guests who saw this what it was....
A mere week ago, I actually still cared. And so I tried to trim things a bit before my first internal and the result was laughable, pitiful, and somewhat tragic at the same time. I wanted to cry. I haven't touched it since. I may get another internal tomorrow, but as I have said, I simply don't have the energy anymore to care.

you go right ahead. I'll be here laughing my a$$ off.
I've decided I really don't like most of my OB's anyway so I don't give a sh*t if I offend them by being "ungroomed".

I take the beard trimmer to the lady parts. I think i'll have the husband start ladyscaping me soon. I do get my legs waxed though.
I also wax people for a living, so I have waxed several very pregnant women. If you're not super sensitive, that's the way to go.
