Pg with 2nd set of twins....

I found out on Monday that I am expecting our second set of twins!  My first set will turn 5 in August and my second set are set to arrive in January ("due date" is January 24th at this point).

Anyone else out there?? Did you start showing way earlier with the 2nd set? I have been super hungry this time around and super tired. Not sure if that's because I have 2 other kids, am 39, or just busy!!

    I'm only preg with my first set of twins but 3rd pregnancy, but wanted to say congrats! I showed right away, at 8 weeks with my twins. It was crazy! All those muscles are broken down and all stretched from previous pregnancies. Nothing holding it back anymore!

    Congratulations!  I think I would be both excited and a little overwhelmed!  At least you know what to expect! 
    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    Congrats on your second set; that is awesome!

    DH thinks that we're destined for another set in a couple of years.  I think we need to see how it goes the first time around.

    Congratulations!!!

    I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant again, but won't have an u/s for 2 more weeks since I'm only 4w5d.. I can't get my siggy to update to a new pic and tickers so I just gave up on that.

    Hystroscopy to remove cysts 11/2010
    IVF #1 with ICSI Graydon Dane born Oct. 23, 2011 via c-section at 38 weeks.
    Surprise BFP 10/9/12. Blighted ovum at 8wks. D&C 11/1/12.

    Congrats! That's so exciting.  My DH is worried about trying for another one and getting a bonus so I always keep these stories to myself, lol!

    I don't have two sets of twins, but I have twins and triplets. My twins are 7, my trips are almost 1 and I have four other kids aged 10, 6, 5 and 2. 

    It's fine. It's sooooo much easier the second time around, I promise. It's been really enjoyable and fun and that's not something I could say in the first 6 months of having my twins.

     Congratulations!  



    I just saw this post and had to say: you are awesome. :) And I think it's kind of cool that you have a family of 9 but only had to be pregnant 6 times! ;)

    Congrats!! We are "only" on our first set (hehe), and this is my second pregnancy. I definitely started showing sooner. :)

    How exciting. Congrats!! X4. Lol. I think this is at the back of every multiple moms mind when thinking of TTC again. Are both sets frat?

    Thanks ladies!!

    The first set is fraternal (one looks like me; the other like DH) and this set is identical.

    So I'm guessing showing earlier is part of pregnancy #2 no matter how many are in there!!

    congrats! I showed much earlier the second time (like 12 weeks vs. 28) but my first was a singleton. good luck!
