Did your parental fee go down for TEFRA?
Mine only went down about $25 per month, but I guess I can't complain too much since that is $300 over the course of the year.
It's confusing, but I think there might be another round of adjustments in the future. ::fingers crossed::
Re: *Spockles*
No, our parental fee went up about $175! Although it would have been $200 had they not passed that bill.
It's so stressful and I hope it does get adjusted down in the future. I'm not working now, so I might see if they can take that into consideration. Both DH and my income were figured in for the parental fee (since it's based on 2012 taxes) and our income is/will be significantly less this year.
Yes, for sure call and let them know if have a change in income. They will adjust it down for you. I think you would probably call your financial worker at the County to report the change. If not, here is the number I have for the Parental Fee unit: 651-431-2670.
Do you have primary insurance for your son? Do you know that you can get reimbursed for the amount you pay each month towards his private insurance? It is more cost effective for the state to reimburse members for their private insurance than for us to not have private insurance for our kids, so they do this.
We live in CR, so yes we are quite close. We have gone bowling a few times at the Brunswick bowling alley in Blaine. We have always gone on a weeknight to avoid the crowds.
What is your son doing for therapy services now? Our third son was diagnosed recently so we are getting all geared up to start services and I am having a really hard time deciding what I want to do with him.
If you're comfortable PM me your email address or we can connect on FB. :
That's right. I couldn't remember if you ended up going to Fraser in Anoka. My little guy is just SO little that I am having a hard time making a decision about what to do.
I think we may have emailed previously, but I will send my email address over in a PM.
