Hello everyone. I have been lurking in these boards for quite some time and finally decided to post. On Mother's Day I was woken up with strong contractions and about 30 minutes later my water broke. When I went to the hospital they told I had lost too much fluid and the baby would have to come out within 24 hours so I was immediately given some Pitocin to start labor. About 5 hours I gave birth to my first child my little Benjamin at 34w3d. He did a week in the NICU and did great while in there and never needed any breathing or feeding tubes. He is now now 5weeks 1 week adjusted and doing even better. I'm still adjusting to having my first baby let alone the learning curve preemies are on but I am so grateful he's doing so good and is perfectly healthy.
