Re: (Untitled)
Hi girls! (((HUGS))) to everyone. Bit of a long update for ya today. Well we got mostly good news today at my 3rd u/s. Most importantly, the baby looks great. I can't believe how much baby has grown in one week. Heart rate is now 148 (was 114 last week). It was so sweet to see the little heart fluttering again. Baby measured 7w 3d.
Then they told me I have a bleed (blood clot) in my uterus. I haven't had any spotting at all though. Apparently it was there last week but much smaller so they didn't want to worry me. This week it has gotten bigger. I was told as long as it stays smaller than the sac then things should be fine. Right now its about a fourth of the size of the sac. But it is rather close to baby. You can sort of see it in this image: its the dark blob to the upper right of the word baby. The doctor then swabbed me to test for an infection. Apparently a bleed like this is susceptible to infection. They told me to go home, put my feet up, and take it easy for awhile. I'm now on pelvic rest, modified bed rest, and told not to lift anything above 8 pounds. I'm remaining positive that this will go away but its still so scary to think about. I'm feeling guilty for over exerting myself at the grocery store yesterday, and DH is feeling guilty for asking for sex. Here's our little one at 7.5 weeks:
QOTW: Um the constant constipation was a surprise symptom. I knew it could happen just didn't know how bad it could get. And its super hard to brush your teeth without throwing up.

After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.

I'm so sorry
I had this as well - I didn't bleed until week 11ish - then I had a huge bleed at week 13ish and was on full fledge bed rest for 2 weeks. It's SO scary to see the blood - and while it doesn't always happen (sometimes it's absorbed) it is pretty normal...so just a heads up - lots of bright red isn't always a bad thing when you have a SCH. Mine was close to baby A too...it's so scary, and stressful...other good advice I got: stay hydrated!! Drink as much as your body can handle.
My thoughts are with you, girl!!!

I was hoping you'd post here so I could ask you about it. When did they first see yours? Did they know you had one before you started bleeding? I'm so glad I haven't had any bleeding yet but thanks for the reminder that its not always an end-all-be-all. Has yours gotten smaller or cleared up now? Think of you as well and hoping that you are doing much better after your bed rest.

Hey ladies!! Still lurking and keeping my fingers crossed for you all!!
I will be 18 weeks tomorrow and all is healthy and well (as far as I can tell!)! It's been nice to have a few calm weeks after a rocky start! Although, with the SCH & placenta previa I was used to weekly u/s and have now gone two weeks without seeing the girls - and won't go in for another two weeks for my official a/s with the MFM (high risk) so I'm freaking out just a bit...I think once I start feeling them that worry will go away a bit.
QOTW: I was most surprised that I didn't have symptoms (other than exhaustion and about 1.5 weeks of morning sickness). Everything I had read about twins said that you would get way more symptoms and worse. I can count myself lucky, I suppose! But I had always wanted the implantation bleeding, tender boobs, m/s, etc...a "hollywood" pregnancy! Lol
DH took this picture yesterday before work - I was 17w5d...starting to get much bigger than what I should look like if I were having a singleton!
Cara - Yep, they knew about mine too - but didn't tell me. At first I was mad about this - but that's neither here nor there at this point. Apparently mine was around for about 2-3 weeks before they saw bleeding. The first time I went to the ER with lighter bleeding - but the second time it looked like I was on the heaviest day of my period (sorry, TMI). It was terrifying. I joined a support group for SCH on a different forum and it helped a lot - there are tons of success stories! The one thing I did learn is some doctors believe in bed rest for this, while others don't. In my opinion the bed rest and drinking 80 oz of water is what helped me. I went in for an u/s around 16 weeks b/c I had a fall right on my stomach - and at that scan they said they couldn't detect it at all - and I haven't had anymore bleeding. So it took about 4 weeks after the bleeding to clear up - but 8 weeks from detection.
The other thing that happened w/ mine - cramping...so that with bleeding I was just beside myself - but it all turned out okay!! My fingers are crossed for you!! Keep positive, rest and stay hydrated!!!
Hi ladies,
I am 18 weeks today and these babies keep pushing on my bladder. I am back to work now this is my first time back since the beginning of the pregnancy. I was off due to severe morning sickness, and then the braxton hicks contractions. It feels good to be in a some what normal routine. It is all short shifts 3 hours or less. Monday we have our next OB appt and we will get to see the boys around the first week of July.
QOTW: probably beginning hungry all the time during the 2nd trimester and begin plain out exhausted.

Hey ladies! I think of you all often and am sending ((hugs)) to all those who need them.
I'm 22w3d today and feeling great. Our little boy is a mover and I love feeling his kicks and jabs when he really gets going. MH finally felt him on the outside too - it was a really cool moment.
We're getting our registry finalized and ordering nursery furniture. We also started our childbirth classes as well. I can't believe that in about 17 weeks we get to meet our son! October will be here before we know it.
QOTW: I've had pretty standard symptoms but probably the most surprising to me is some of the digestive wonkiness I've been having. Man am I gassy! Clear the room!!
This is me from yesterday. Getting bigger!
It's great to hear how you are doing. Sorry for the surprise rest you need to be on. I will say some extra prayers that you continue to do well.
The baby's heartrate sounds so strong! Again, so happy for you!

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
Hi guys - I am currently 10.5 weeks pregnant with twins off of IUI #4 with femara, follistim and ovidrel. I have officially graduated from my RE and have my first appointment back with my OB tomorrow.
QOTW: The most surprising symptom or side effect is the fact that for the last three weeks I pee my pants every time I throw up and have been throwing up 2-3 times a day. I knew some women had bladder issues later in their pregnancies but had no idea it would start so soon.
