While I am super grateful to have healthy pregnancy so far (knock on wood), I could really do without peeing my pants every time I throw up. Especially since I am throwing up several times a day and it is super awkward to have to change clothes while at work. Please tell me that I am not the only one experiencing this?

I pee a little every time I fart. I think it has to do with having to relax those muscles to let myself fart and always having a full bladder. Its sad but one of my favorite things right now is to be at home, and be on the toilet where I can pee and fart to my hearts content. It makes the bloat feel so much better! Luckily my DH just thinks it is funny and cute. That helps me from feeling shame about it! Haha

I wear liners/light pads in the later weeks. You'll find yourself peeing doing a multitude of things.

Yep, did it all through my first pregnancy and it happens now too. Would you be depressed if I told you that it doesn't completely go away even after the baby comes? I had a scheduled csection no labor and still my bladder control just hasn't been the same.

So glad I am not the only one! And while I was aware that many women have issues later in their pregnancy when the baby is weighing down their bladder, I had no idea that this would happen so early on. This has been going on for about 3 weeks already and my babies are only the size of prunes this week.

Unfortunately, pantyl iners and normal pads aren't cutting it with the amount of water I have been drinking. Guess I will have to bite the bullet and invest in some Poise pads. Oh well, my dignity went out the window long ago.

You cracked me up! I keep getting horrible gas pains and I completely agree that peeing and passing gas are now the best things ever.

TMI warning: Both Pregnancies, I've had to sit on the toilet while puking into something else because I'm usually peeing and pooping at the same time. If I didn't do that, I would be going right there on the floor(it happened in the beginning). I would definitely invest in some of those hospital puke bags(they are blue around here) and some leak guard pads

You can BUY those??? I took some after being in the ER, but don't have anymore. Those are the BEST things to keep in the car since you can actually hold them with one hand and keep the other on the steering wheel (sad, I know). The plastic bag isn't quite as easy to manuver.

Wow, i quickly realize how pathetic my life has turned when I am excited to hear you can buy those puke bags. (((hangs head)))

Ahh! Snissing. I didn't even know it had a name. But yeah, that and peeing whilst vomiting totally happen.

The worst for me though was a couple of weeks ago when I had a non-stop cough. I actually thought about buying adult diapers.

i always had a hard time remembering to do them too, until someone told me this tip: do them whenever you're at a red light! That works if you can get in the habit.

lol - everyone's posts really had me laughing.

I didn't have the peeing problem while pregnant with DS until the end... but I have a good story.

I was in the pregnancy triage - waiting to be admitted and I guess cause I was really nervous I was in a giddy mood. DH and I started to laugh about something - and I completely peed the hospital bed - I tried to stop but in labour I had NO control. I had to tell the nurse when she came in. I wasn't even embarrassed because I was laughing so hard about it I was crying....

These posts are a great way to remind us all to do kegels. I have an app on my phone for them and have a set alarm that goes off once a day right now, when I'm not feeling so crappy, I'll set it for twice a day.
