  • I believe your first option is the correct, formal way to write out a date. I've seen it both ways though.

  • I hate MLA, mmd. I hate MLA so hard. It just made the end of writing papers, which was fun for me, utterly ridiculous and instead of waiting to see what my profs thought of my papers, I would dread getting points off because of a misplaced comma.

    Honestly, I've been writing in and teaching MLA for so long, it's the only way I write now. I had to write in APA one time and it was torture. MLA is more about the citations than anything else and that's the part people hate the most.

  • I love MLA! I don't write in it much now cuz scientific writing for journals took over, but the college I work at requires APA and it is awful!
