While I am a FTM..... This is my story: I lost my mucus plus last monday morning and I called my doc and they said that it is perfectly normal and that the twinge of blood was perfectly normal. Then later that day at 35 weeks my water broke out of nowhere and little miss Emma came into the world. All deliveries are completely different but just wanted to let you know how it worked for me. HTH!!

first pregnancy i went into labor that day but i was 40 wks 3 days and had the bloody show.

this time i lost it 8 weeks ago. still pregnant. they said it only is,important if you have cramping or blood.

FTM here as well, I lost mine a few days ago. Still pregnant as ever but have started preparing even more, just in case. Will confirm with doc at today's appointment if I've made any cervical changes.

I started losing my plug about 4 weeks ago, been having inconsistent contractions since then and had my bloody show 6 days ago... Still pregnant. Until you get those true labor contractions or your water breaks, its just a waiting game.

Well I've had 3 kids.

1st born- lost plug in morning an went in to get checked, they sent me home... i come back 5 hours later in labor.

2nd and 3rd- lost plug a month before. go figure!

Means nothing immediately. Watch for contractions etc. you didn't mention how far along you are. If you are before 37 weeks then call.

Never lost my plug with my first but with my second, I had my baby the day I lost it. But it quickly progressed from losing the plug to bloody show and I was a week overdue. I think it's hard to tell from the plug alone, but either way, good luck!!

I lost my mucus plug and then about 20 min later my water broke. My contractions had to be kick started with a small dose of pit, had DD early the next morning.

I would just make sure I had my hospital bag packed, and wait and see.

I'm FTM, lost mine at 35 weeks. My OB checked me Monday and I'm 1.5 cm dilated, but just a little bloody show and no contractions. I'm feeling really good, so not expecting labor to start anytime soon. My OB was not at all concerned for PTL.

Sorry, for mobile bumpers I'm 36wks and 3 days. I did call my doc and he's not worried, he said pretty much what you guys are saying so... Thanks everyone for your input!

I slowly lost mine over the course of a month. However a few days before I went into labor I started losing it pretty heavily, large chunks and a little blood tinged.

This for me as well for 1st baby!

I am a FTM preg with twins. Last weekend I lost some of mine but there was no blood and no additional symptoms. I am only 33 weeks so I called my doctor. She told me to just watch for other symptoms. Apparently if you don't lose all of it, it can manage to regenerate too.

With DD I started losing mine Monday morning and it was pretty much all gone by that afternoon and bloody show started around the same time. I gave birth to DD1 Tuesday evening.
