  I actually have two friends IRL - both very close to me - who struggled with IF and ended up going through IVF and FETs to conceive. I hate that anyone has to deal with IF but when it is someone you care about it is horrible. There is nothing fair about IF.

  My SIL dealt with IF, then we found out about ours. I have a friend currently going through her second IVF, but I really think her first RE screwed up her first cycle. It's all unfair and I too am thankful to have come out on the other side.

  At least she has you to talk to, someone who actually gets what she's going through. I'm so sorry.

  This exactly. You must be such a comfort for her. It always amazes me when people don't have TTTC. DH and I each have two siblings. Only one of those four did not use treatment to conceive (and, for all different reasons!). It's just so unfair that so many couples go through this pain.

  DH's best friend is dealing with IF. I knew they had been trying for along time and was starting to think they where having trouble. They know what we went through so I waited for them to approach us.
  I wish I would have said something earlier, she is taking unmonitored clomid through a gyn, has had no testing. I am struggling with where the line is between helping and over stepping. The friend is talking to DH more and more, DH has suggested going to RE, hopefully they go.

  
  
  I struggle with that line too. I was very private going through IF because I don't like to talk about my feelings and I don't like attention on me. I try not to ask too many questions but make it clear to her that I'm here for her no matter what she needs.
