Natural birth in lower Alabama

I posted this on the local board as well but I'm looking for a natural childbirth friendly doctor or midwife in lower Alabama. Currently I'm seeing a doctor affiliated with Thomas Hospital but after my appointment yesterday it became apparent that she is more intervention happy than she lead me to believe at my first appointment. TIA!

If there is a local chapter of La Leche League, any local doulas, or an ICAN chapter anywhere near you, those would be great places to ask for recommendations.

Are there any doulas in your area? I found my doula using google, and her company website had recommended OB's posted.

If you can't find anything, I recommend Intown Midwifery in the Atlanta area. I know lots of folks from Florida and Alabama go this practice, so I wasn't sure if traveling like that is an option for you.
