I definitely think my dog knows - she has always been a mommy's girl, but since about Feb. she's been all up in my business - following me everywhere (including the bathroom - I guess I should just get used to having no privacy!) and wanting to be touching me as much as possible
Actually, it was partly because my cat, Reggie, started acting so weird that I even tested in the first place!
I have always had issues with my period (from PMDD to super irregular ones...once went 6 months without a period then bled for 20 days straight!) so missing a period was not weird for me. It was when I threw up (first time in 4 years) and then my kitty would not leave me alone! He was up my butt all day, meowing like crazy. Whenever I sat down, he was desperate to get in my lap, which is weird because he usually prefers MH. I even called my vet because I was so concerned that something was wrong with him! Then, he started kneading my stomach and a light bulb went off. I tested that day and got a BFP!
Now, he is obsessed with sitting on my belly. The other day, when Reggie was walking across my lower abdomen, I felt baby push against his paws, so I was getting sandwiched from the inside and the outside! It was actually really cute. I think baby knows Reggie's purrs because LO gets all jumpy when the kitty is around. I hope that they get along and Reggie doesn't try to smother baby...
