I still buy the adult version ones for adding to my 9 year olds lunch on days I'm running low on time or fresh veggies and fruit.
We also buy a ton of the choboni yogurt tubes I even take those for me of I know we'll be running errands at lunch time! Convenience is important with kids!
Our budget is really tight so I bought a sill squeeze and make my own pur?es just like before. I either put pur?ed fruit or yogurt in it. It's a little more work but not much. I buy plain yogurt and mix in a little vanilla extract and she LOVES it!
I make big bunches of pur?ed fruit and freeze it so I only have to make a batch once a week or so.
apple strawberry is probably her favourite and since I don't peel the apples it doesn't take long to make at all. Maybe half an hour using an apple slicer/corer.
I do have a stash of the store bought ones I keep hidden for lazy days but I have used one in probably two weeks because the sili squeeze is so easy!
