Popping in to say "Hi" ! How is every one?

I have been MIA for a few weeks, just busy with Christmas stuff, etc... i am going to do some baking today to try to get into the spirit! I am praying this is the last Christmas we are childless and that 2009 brings happy news to everyone!

We are oficcially home study approved, and have written our ad to be placed in a print media campaign and yesterday, I reached out to an old friend from college who did fost/adopt. She has 3 bio kids and fosters all the time and decided to parent the little boy she had. He is adorable!

I am going to send her flyers with our ad on it for her to have on hand in case she runs across an interesting situation for us. I figure it's a good place to start. My atty wants us to spend some $$$ on expensive ads, but we have a large network of family and friends all over the place, so we are going to send a letter with our Christmas cards and get the ball rolling on our own, at least until we are finished with the holiday season!

What are some creative things you ladies are doing, if you are not doing an agency placement?

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! It is cold , but sunny where I am, and soon the house wll be filled with the smell of gingerbread!!!

I am getting Christmas spirit if it kills me!!! LOL!!!

We're doing an agency placement, but we are sending the letters out with our Christmas cards, too. Why not, right? Our agency encourages you to do that. I'm all for anything that might help us!
