We have a small older home that we are remodeling, but one amenity it does have that I couldn't live without is a bath tub. Even without kids, I am a bath person. I wouldn't buy a house that didn't have a tub or room to install a tub in the only or the master bathroom.
Another amenity I would miss is laundry. I have always had laundry in my apartment, condo, or house. Right now, it's in our basement, which isn't the best thing ever, but it's still there! I am thankful because it allows me to use cloth diapers to save money
There are a LOT of things I want in our next house. My top three are a dishwasher (don't have one now), washer and dryer in or near the kitchen, and a second bathroom so that I don't have to share with DD forever!
I would go nuts without a washer and dryer. Also a dishwasher. It would suck to always do them by hand.
A larger home would be nice! I'd like a completely different floorplan, too. I'd love a larger master bath, a family room/playroom and a larger dining room. I sound like a brat....
Our kitchen is my favorite thing in our house. It is huge. It is about the size of my parents whole main floor. I bake with the kids nearly every day. My island is about 100 square feet or so. Once a week, it is covered in cookies usually. I have a cooling drawer in the side of it, and it is where I keep snacks and drinks for the kids.
There is not much that I could not live without. We bought and then gutted the house. Everything I could want we have. I guess maybe a sixth bedroom, so all the kids have their own rooms. Mal and Eryn sharing ins`t that bad though.

Holy cow! I want your house. Can you pip your kitchen? I'm super jealous.
Main floor master bedroom - I would never buy another home without it.
Hardwood floors throughout - I'm weird about carpet, I like that I can really sterilize my floors at any time.
Covered back porch - even in the rain, I can sit outside.
Gourmet Kitchen - I cook A LOT, so the kitchen quality is an absolute deal breaker.
Next Home: I HATE our spa tub, it's so gigantic and we never, ever use it. I really want a huge walk-in frameless shower with either a simple clawfoot tub, or no tub at all.
Eat-in kitchen. We currently have a breakfast bar, and a dining room. I'd love a more casual eating area.
We need a dishwasher and laundry in the house. I've been without both before and would not want to do it again, even more so now with a baby.
I really like having more than one bathroom. I don't think I'd want to share with DD. I would LOVE a big shower with 2 shower heads. When DH is home we usually end up showering together and I don't like sharing the hot water
I guess I'm not too picky. DH is going to be the hard one to please when we're done renting and ready to buy. We lived in a 100 year old house for a while and we both really liked the charm it had (if that can be a quality). Oh and I'd like to have a walk-in closet again. Our stuff overflows into the guest room closet right now.
Our house is old and small, but I do like having 1.5 baths; I just could not go back to 1 bath again. Also having a dishwasher is awesome, I don't know how we survived without one in our old apartment.
I do wish our kitchen was bigger, it's a galley style kitchen and it's crowded with 2 people. Also a laundry ROOM is a must in the next house. I absolutely hate having a laundry closet. And most importantly, rooms need to be away from the main living area. Both bedrooms are right off the living room, and it bugs me. It's so hard to stay quiet after ds goes to bed!

Laundry, though I wish it was on the main level versus I'm the garage.
A better dishwasher. We'll be getting a new one next income tax.
A nice spacious eat in kitchen. I like having nt kids in the kitchen with me helping cook/bake.
I wish I had a bigger stove or two of them
