I was just curious if your kids came around the same time (gestationally).
My first came at 37.5 weeks and my midwife said I might be able to expect the same with this one, but I don't want to get too fixated on an earlier date.
I have no idea what to expect. From what I understand, it does vary baby to baby. I have a good friend that delivered her first at 37 weeks and was absolutely certain that she would deliver at the same time with her second. She went into labor four days after her due date. (I've also seen the reverse of this situation occur as well).

This is what I want to be prepared for mentally! I'm due Sept. 29th and for some reason I really think we're going to have an October baby.
The midwife just said that since there was no medical reason that my first came early, that some woman just have a set gestation. Who knows!
Both of my older two kids were born 39wk1d exactly, planned induction. What's even crazier, the inductions were started at the same time and they were both born within one minute of each other.
I'm really hoping to go into labor on my own this time around.
Proud Mommy to DS (March 2007) and DD (May 2002)
Baby No. 3 BFP 1/16/2013!!
I was induced with both my children. But, my mom had 3 of us, and each came earlier then the last. I really think it just happens when it happens. No way to predict.
My mom had to be induced at 42 weeks for all 6 of her kids! I guess we all really wanted to stay inside. Hoping this is not the case with my little dude.
I only have the one so far, but I know quite a few people who were early with #1 and went past EDD with #2.
The people I know who that happened to had medical issues with the first. Is that the case here or did they both come without intervention and issues?
The early ones weren't medical interventions, just water broke or went into labor naturally between 35 and 38 weeks. One example, my niece was born at 37 weeks (water broke for sister) and my nephew was induced and born at 39w4d. My sister was induced with her second but not for medical reasons, because she had less than a week left on her insurance so they wanted to be sure she and baby were out of the hospital before insurance ran out.
Re: Moms of 2 or more
Boy #3!
DD1 came (via induction) at 41 weeks exactly.
DD2 came at 39 weeks (planned induction).

I'm assuming there was some sort of medical issue since they were so early?

DS was 40w 6d and DD was 40w3d.
A friend of mine just delivered her 3rd at 39w6d but delivered her other two at 40w4d (they are not twins just both born at the same gestational age).
