*growing - I apologize to anyone who came into this thread just to see what I meant by growning!
I tend to not worry about my kids medically. I often take a wait and see attitude. But more and more lately I've been worried that DS isn't really getting bigger. The girls started out both at about 80% for height/weight, and YDD went up slightly (she hovers around 90%) and ODD went down slightly (she hovers around 70%).
DS was born at about 90% height/weight, at his 3 month appointment he was not too much lower, 80% I think, then at his 6 month he was about 60%, then at 9 month he was about 50%. It is both height and weight, so it isn't like he's gettng super skinny or anything, and he eats and eats and eats...
I am trying not to worry about it, but it is hard when he's still wearing the same clothes he was 4-5 months ago, and the girls were nothing like this. Anyone else deal with this?

Re: So I am kind of worried about how DS is growing...
It is really really hard not to compare your LO to other kids. Even harder not to compare them to your other kids. But every kid grows at their own rate.
Mathieu was a short, chunky kiddo. Rhett is the exact opposite and is tall and skinny. At first it scared the poo out of me but he eats good, is healthy, and his pedi is happy with his growth so I try not to worry.
Has your pedi said anything about it? If not I would try not to worry.

Chloe was in the 80th percentile for height until her 6 month appointment and since then she's been in the 40th percentile.
Her doctor isn't worried and I like to think that we're just getting good use out of her clothes. She too has been wearing the same things for 5-6 months!
I have not mentioned it to his pedi, I keep thinking I'll wait and see how his next appointment goes, and I figured he'd have a growth spurt at some point, but I am still waiting on that!
And I am not so worried about weight as I am height, because he has gotten more mobile. But he should be getting taller (longer?)!

You and me both lady! C hasn't gained any weight since his 4 month appointment, but he did get taller I guess.
i think if your pedi had concerns then he/she would tell you, but definitely bring it up if you are worried.
This. If there was medical cause for concern your pedi would have said something. I'm sorry you're worried.
