Is this a milestone????

poop flinging?

Nate has begun to play with his poopy diaper after nap. Two afternoons now he has been awake and VERRRY quiet in his room. I thought he was playing with his stuffed animals and having them talk to each other. Maybe he decided to do that after he pulled out the solid contents of his diaper and toss the bits outside the crib. All of his stuffed friends are now poopy and will be talking a washing machine bath tomorrow..

Did I mention we had corn last night for dinner????

I think we are ready for more intense potty training....yes?

ETA: what age to typical kids do this? curious to see where his poop behavior falls...

Re: Is this a milestone????

  • DS did this at approx. 1.5yo

We put him in footie pajamas at night to prevent this.

I wouldn't wait though to get up and change him - because letting him chill alone with a poopie diaper was when it happened.

A milestone that noone looks forward to!

My kids never did this, but I've also heard of putting feety pajamas on backwards to make them harder to get off.
