a few days ago one was at my parents a few blocks away, now one just showed up ON OUR DOOR. i almost had a panic attac NOT EXAGGERATING. i hate spiders. i never saw one in my LIFE, and now, 2 in 3 days???

I rented a commercial space a few years ago that had them everywhere. Never saw one until that. They just look like death to me. Eww.

Are you against using lemon scented pledge? I saw several spiders in our room several days in a row, and my MIL told me to spray lemon scented pledge around the windows. Haven't seen a spider since! I respray every couple of weeks. Also, it may be a PIA to spray all around your windows and doors of your house, but you very well may stay spider free for much cheaper than with a professional.

I'm mobile and was REALLY hoping that title didn't say what I thought it said.... ::shudder:: I. HATE. SPIDERS. I'd take the chemicals over the unwanted guests any day!

Ew they look so.. Sharp to me. Like pointy. I stepped on a black widow bare foot when I was in high school. The little bugger played dead and then creepily crawled away. I've never screamed so loud in my life.

I will have to try this we have a ton of spiders where I live(granted I am within miles from a national forest but still). I see them on my porch all the time and in my house about once a month, widows(we have red, black, and brown all in our yard) and brown recluses.

I don't kill things BUT I am terrified of spiders. Like nightmares. So if one comes anywhere near the inside of my house. Dead. Can't risk it killing me in my sleep. Cause in my mind all spiders are vicious beasts with the ability to kill you. Even if its me choking on it in my sleep.

In these situations I usually find it's best to just take a deep breath and very carefully burn the house down....I hate spiders
