4 weeks pp and PUPPPs is getting worse!!!

I don't know what to do. My ob gave me an oral steroid (6 day pack) and it did nothing. He said it should've gotten better after placentas came out, so maybe it's not PUPPPs after all. Well he referred me to a dermatologist and he says it looks like classic PUPPPs, but steroid should've worked. He did a biopsy just to be sure but haven't heard back yet. In the meantime he gave me a topical steroid, but that too has done nothing. I'm beginning to feel like a medical mystery and I need relief ASAP. 

Im at my wits end. I was 100% better in the days after my c section, but with a week it creeped back.  Now its worse than when it's pregnant and im so miserable, my skin is on fire and it covers my body!  I've tried everything.

 Anyone else have PUPPPs post partum and when did it go away/ what worked for you??

Me: 29 DH: 30 TTC # 1 since 2008, in denial of needing an RE until 2012 DX with severe MFI, straight to IVF IVF #1 August 2012- stims 8/18, ER 8/28- 18R, 11M, 10F. 9/3 ET cancelled due to chronic OHSS. 6 awesome embies on ice! 9/27 FET Beta #1: 427-BFP!!!     ER 7/14/12 6R 5F, ET 7/17 3 embies, beta #1 7/26: 147, beta #2 7/28: 326, beta#3 7/30: 422...ugh, beta#4 7/31: 607...hopeful, beta #5 8/2: 1280, beta #6 8/7: 7184 and u/s shows 1 possibly 2 sacs! 8/14 2 beautiful heartbeats! 9/24 we are TEAM BLUE!!!!!

    Try the Benadryl, but keep pressing your drs. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this.

    Benadryl, Claritin, oatmeal baths, Sarna lotion, and the prescription steroids. I don't get it. It keeps popping up in new places.

    My friend did not have PUPPS during her pregnancy and got it PP.  I have no advice, but just wanted to let you know that you are not alone :(. Sorry you are so itchy!

    BPF 02/19/12, EDD 10/31/12, natural m/c 02/28/12 (4w6d)

    IVF (BCPs starting 10/30/12, ER 11/18/12, 5dt of 1 beautiful, healthy embryo 11/23/12)
    BFP 12/02/12, u/s @ 6w,5d showed 2 HBs! Identical twins!!
    Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
    Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)

    So sorry you are going through this. I have PUPPS right now and just wanted to say that I hope it turns a corner for you soon. For my particularly itchy spots, I put an ice pack or cold wet wash cloth to help numb the itching.

    Crap, this is not encouraging at all :(.  I have an insane case of PUPPPs that isn't responding to anything, including a reluctantly prescribed five-day burst of prednisone, and if it doesn't go away after delivery I swear I will throw myself in front of a train.  I really, really hope they're able to find something to help you soon.
