Fussy baby and hitting his head

He keeps hittting his head above his left ear like he's mad at his head! He's also really fussy. We live in the desert and Im worried he has a headache from dehydration. Is that what you would  think? Is there a set amount of water that 1yos should be drinking?

    I'm not sure about water amount, but could he have an ear ache/infection?

    This is what I was thinking too. Couldn't hurt to get it checked out.

    Yeah I guess he could. He has tubes and hasnt been stuffy, so it wasnt my first guess. He usually pulls on his actual ear as well. Ill have the doc look at his 1y appt
