My kitty is shaved!

So today was D-Day to get my kitty shaved! I thought that he was just getting a trimming but I was informed their is only one level! So he got a lion cut! Is it horrible of me that when he came out of his carrier I almost peed myself laughing! The poor guy! All his beautiful hair is gone but here is to hoping for a hair free home! I'll post a picture on here later on once he has settled down! I imagine it was a stressful experience! Although they said he did great!

I had a post on here about 3 weeks ago thinking about shaving him... and the title was similar so I thought I would go with the title that seemed to work last time...lol It is really cute but really hilarious and I think my DH may die of laughter. He's been looking forward to this for awhile! If I didn't shave him I think my LO would of been pooping out hair balls! An necessary evil! He's starting to come out of hiding now so I should be able to get a good pic of him now!

Thanks, Ped Doc for some reason I was thinking his whole tail would be left in tact! So, when I saw the little poof at the end I couldn't stop laughing!

When we used to lion cut kitties at our clinic, we would ask the client if they wanted the entire tail left intact and many did. When I did my Persian, I left her tail whole. Though I think technically if you want them just like a lion, the tail should be mostly shaved with a tuft at the end.

Your cat is adorable. Is he sulking now, or rocking his good looks?

I personally thought they said his tail would be left in tact! I guess I misunderstood.... lol He is rocking his new look though! He must of been stressed though because he is still shedding.....but he is acting completely normal now!
