Other uses for crib bumper

If you aren't planning on using your bumper in the crib, what do you plan to do with it if anything? Any creative uses for it? Ours is so darn cute I'd love to use it somehow, but we don't want to use it in the crib due to safety concerns.

Since we already had valences my MIL is making wall hangings and a pilllow for our glider from some of the bumper.

This may be too late to respond, but I have seen people cut them in half and sew them together lengthwise which turns it into a napmat. I personally am on my 3rd child and will be using it on the crib just like before.
