Hi ladies,

I started lurking here a few days ago; I'm the new mom to a borderline preemie born last Thursday at 36 weeks 1day. I just wanted to say hello, and also thank the ladies of this board; I've already found the posts and responses very helpful, particularly as we navigate the line between preemie and "full term" with our DD.

Did your DD have a NICU stay? If so I hope she is home shortly.

She's doing ok! We didn't have a NICU stay, but we're actually back in the PICU today and tonight for jaundice and to try to make up weight lost due to latching issues. It's going well, though. She moved from very high bilirubin levels to lesscritical ones, and we're doing a combination of pumping and formula, which is working to get her back up closer to birth weight. It was a scary morning, but we're feeling good about it now.
